The Dayuan Jianshan Archaeological Exhibition Hall has organized a small-scale exhibition themed around “stone tools,” featuring several typical types of stone artifacts on display. Through observation and hands-on experiences, visitors are invited to explore how humans used “design thinking” to respond to everyday needs. This exhibition also features videos by the museum’s volunteers and expert scholars introducing their favorite stone tools, along with a voting and prize-drawing event that invites visitors to choose the stone tool they believe would have been the most practical to use. During the exhibition period, the museum will also host the “Shouldered Stone Axe DIY Activities” on September 26, where participants can create stone axe–shaped coasters using cork boards and experience the design thinking of prehistoric humans through hands-on activities.
