Akibo Works was founded by Akibo Lee, a renowned Taiwanese interdisciplinary artist, curator, and design director. It is a visual design and public art team teeming with creative energy. In its early days, Akibo Works created numerous iconic visual designs for pop music. In recent years, the studio has adopted its signature robotic and techno-futuristic style as a creative lexicon, leaving behind deeply influential public art across various regions. Furthermore, Akibo has expanded into designing main lanterns for major lantern festivals and has been invited multiple times to serve as the opening aesthetics director for large-scale official events and international sporting competitions. Their work navigates seamlessly between futuristic sci-fi, local colors, and magnificent complexity, distilling a uniquely captivating aesthetic.
