This route is designed specifically for plant enthusiasts seeking in-depth exploration.

On the "Botanist’s Journey," you will step into hidden private gardens tucked away in the alleys, and discover courtyard designs and planting ideas that only connoisseurs would notice while experiencing the unique horticultural aesthetics of Tianwei. Next, you will enter the heart of nature industry, uncovering the stories behind Made in Tianwei—from flower breeding and plant production to landscape applications—and revealing the professional expertise that shapes this town of flowers. Along the way, every shop is a miniature museum, home to rare plants and stories enriched by time. Each stop unfolds like a page from Tianwei's green diary. Finally, by following in the footsteps of locals, you will discover the hidden paths known only to the locals and experience the most authentic, vibrant side of Tianwei.

Bank of Culture has long been dedicated to cultivating Taiwan’s traditional culture, documenting over 160 local cultural cases to date, and continuing to work with historians and cultural practitioners across the island to promote cultural sustainability. With expertise in translating complex cultural issues into engaging content, the team leverages creativity and design to present tradition in a fresh light—bringing it into the public eye and inspiring deeper resonance. They have participated in projects such as the Taiwan Cultural Expo, the Taiwan Design Expo, and Taipei City’s initiatives on accessibility and readability for the visually impaired. Their work has been recognized with international and domestic honors, including the Red Dot Design Award, iF Design Award, Golden Pin Design Award, and the Good Design Award (Japan)—testament to their mission of energizing culture through design.

Bank of Culture has long been dedicated to cultivating Taiwan’s traditional culture, documenting over 160 local cultural cases to date, and collaborating with cultural and historical practitioners to promote sustainable cultural development. The team excels at translating complex cultural topics into engaging content, using creativity and design to bring traditional culture into the public eye in fresh ways, inspiring broader resonance. Bank of Culture has participated in events such as the Taiwan Cultural Expo, Taiwan Design Expo, and Taipei’s projects promoting accessibility for the visually impaired and easy-to-read initiatives. The team’s work has been recognized with awards including the Red Dot Design Award, iF Design Award, Golden Pin Design Award, and GOOD DESIGN Award, demonstrating how design can energize culture. Da-Chung Liu is a multidisciplinary designer and creator, skilled at integrating product, space, exhibition, and installation design. His works focus on sensory experiences and the contexts of everyday life. He founded TA CHUNG DESIGN, Qing Qing Shan Ling, and PACKUP OUTDOOR, and serves as a lecturer at several universities. Liu has participated in significant exhibitions and curatorial projects such as the London Design Biennale, Chiayi City Art Museum, and Hsieh-Shan Calligraphy Art Museum. He has received multiple recognitions, including the Golden Pin Design Award, ADC Annual Awards, and Shopping Design Best 100, continuously exploring the possibilities of dialogue between people and their environments through design.

Ta-Chung Liu

Ta-Chung Liu is a cross-disciplinary designer and creator whose practice integrates product, spatial, exhibition, and installation design, with a focus on sensory experiences and the contexts of everyday life. He is the founder of TA CHUNG DESIGN, Ching Ching Shan Ling, and PACKUP OUTDOOR, and also serves as a lecturer at several universities. Liu has participated in major exhibitions and curatorial projects, including the London Design Biennale, the Chiayi Art Museum, and the Hong-Gah Museum of Calligraphy. His works have been recognized with honors such as the Golden Pin Design Award, ADC Annual Awards, and Shopping Design Best 100, as he continues to explore new possibilities for dialogue between people and the environment through design.
