Siaosi was once a major trading hub in central Taiwan, supported by Changhua's convenient north–south transportation routes. Its alleys bustled with cloth dealers, hawkers, and traders in dried goods. Rich in Taiwanese, Japanese, and Western influences, Siaosi now welcomes a new generation, embracing a modern and diverse way of life.

Explore the Siaosi alleys: experience everyday local life, visit roving vendor carts, drop by Si Market and admire its modern glamour, and stay for the light-projection show after dark. Remember to fill your bag! Take home Siaosi specialties and refill your stash of small delights.

Changhua Siaosi Cultural Association

The Siaosi Cultural Association of Changhua County was established in 2005 (Minguo 94). For many years, it has been promoting local culture, preserving historic sites, and fostering community development. In 2024, it also took on the role of organizing the local commercial district and has recently been actively expanding its commercial promotion initiatives.
