The Higashikawa Furniture Association brings together local woodworking furniture manufacturers, independent studios, and emerging craft brands from Higashikawa, Hokkaido. Rooted in abundant forestry resources and the heritage of Asahikawa furniture craftsmanship, the association emphasizes the harmonious coexistence of people, materials, and living spaces. Since its establishment in 2024, the association has actively engaged in public space furniture design and international exhibition exchanges, showcasing the collective strength, innovation, and sustainable vitality of the local contemporary woodworking craft industry.
