Description

New Taipei City's Circular Line links the beauty of the landscape with our industry. This is an opportunity to celebrate the power and beauty of local sectors, combining the expertise of carpenters, plastic makers, metalworkers, and weavers to present the beauty of craftsmanship in the metro compartments. We added privacy space and warmth to the various seating sections to make commuting more relaxing, complimented by window frames which highlighs the landscape beauty of New Taipei. This exhibition is our tribute to the local industry workers and artisans; commuting is not just about getting from station A to station B. We re-emphasize the movement, scenery, touch, texture, humanization, and localization process, making the Circular Line a new 'Moving Craft'.
