Chenleng Road is a key route for tourists traveling from Changhua Station to the Xiaoxi Commercial District and downtown Changhua. The old district's cultural revival is attracting more visitors, highlighting the growing need for a pedestrian-friendly environment. This event is based on a pedestrian safety policy and the concept of "tourism-led, people-centered living." We are creating a temporary pedestrian-priority zone as an exemplary project. Through a call for creative submissions, we welcome citizens to live on the streets with us, transforming the road environment and experimenting with human-centered solutions for the future. Our goal is to create safer and friendlier streets where people can experience the convenience and joy of walking.
In the future, we hope to further connect the urban fabric and spatial stories of Changhua's old district. Revitalizing the old district through a humanistic approach, we encourage more people to immerse themselves in the history of Changhua, and foreground the humanistic depth in the existing cultural and recreational facilities.
